Founded in 1997 by Dr. Charles McDonald, the Department of Dermatology and its clinical practices are located across the State of Rhode Island. Brown Dermatology currently has clinical services at 7 locations, including Rhode Island Hospital, Miriam Hospital, North Main Street, East Providence, Warwick, Westerly and Warren. Brown Dermatology physicians are faculty in the Department of Dermatology, The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Brown Dermatology provides comprehensive clinical services that span general adult and pediatric dermatology, highly specialized services in cancer and immunology, phototherapy, dermatopathology, cosmetic dermatology and surgical dermatology including Mohs Micrographic Surgery.

**Skin Cancer Screenings are back!** The Brown Dermatology Faculty and Residents will once again be performing free skin cancer screenings at local beaches and events. See below for the schedule. The screenings will be taking place this year as follows:
Friday, July 7, 12:30-2:30pm: Narragansett Town Beach, Narragansett
Friday, July 14, 12:30-2:30pm: Easton’s Beach, Newport
Saturday, July 22, 9am to 11:30am: City Park, Warwick, as part of the Rising Above Cancer 5K
Sunday, July 30, 12:30-2:30pm: Scarborough State Beach—Governor’s Bay Day
Friday, August 11, 12:30-2:30pm: Roger Wheeler Beach, Narragansett
Sunday, August 13, tentatively 11am to 1pm: McCoy Stadium, Pawtucket
Friday, August 18, 12:30-2:30pm: East Matunuck Beach, South Kingstown
